The Punjab State government has instructed all public and private universities in the province not to accept HSSC-I (first grade) admission based on grade 9 results.
A notice on this point was circulated on Wednesday, stating that admission will only be allowed after the matriculation results are released.
It said that the admission schedule will be released after all Punjab committees announce their results.
The notice threatened to take legal action against universities that violated the order.
It should be noted that due to the pandemic this year, school and college students have advanced to the next level according to the grading formula defined by the federal government.
According to the detailed information, the matrix result will account for 3% of the 3rd grade.
At the same time, SSC-I students do not need to take the comprehensive exam in 2021. They will only take the second part of the exam next year to obtain a certificate. However, in order to get a promotion, next year’s students must perform well because they will judge their performance this year based on the results of next year’s exams.
