At a grand ceremony held on Saturday, the Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Committee Lahore announced that the results of the 2020 Category X (Matrix) annual examination showed that according to the newly introduced scoring system, the annual salary percentage was 71.51.
In the results announced by Professor Riaz Hashmi, Chairman of BISE Lahore, as many as 237,149 candidates took the exam, of which 169,596 passed the exam.
Unlike previous years, since the Punjab government decided to grant a grading system in the matrix and intermediate exams to ensure that no students are deprived of their rights, no position holders have been announced this year.
In the science group, a total of 166,364 candidates appeared, of which 132,678 were declared successful, of which the pass rate was 79.75%.

At least 50% of scores are awarded to students, while candidates who score 96% in a certain subject are awarded full marks in practice.
This year, due to COVID-19, the government has to cancel the actual part of the 2020 entrance exams, while the remaining exams are completely canceled. The government must announce a promotion policy for such students.
Under the scoring system, candidates with a score of 880+ are awarded an A+ level, while students with a score below 440 are awarded an E level. Candidates with a bag of 770-879 points are awarded A level, 660-769 points are awarded B level, while candidates with 440-549 points are awarded D level, and candidates with 550-659 points are awarded C level.
