Allama Iqbal Open University Announces Financial Assistance Scheme For Deserving Students



Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) announced a financial assistance program for children of poverty, physically handicapped, prisoners, transgender people, and typhoons, which will be enrolled in the fall semester of 2020.

The university provides considerable funds for the poor and needy in society so that they can receive a quality education and help them earn a living in a respectable way.

Professor Zia ul-Qayyum, the vice president of this giant university, said: “We can bring social changes to society, and AIOU as a national institution is working hard for the social and economic development of society.”

According to Rana Muhammad Tariq Javed, Director of Student Counselling and Counselling Services, the poor, disabled, prisoners, transgender, and martyrs’ children can obtain fee reduction application forms from the University District Office/Center.

He further stated that those students who are interested in using the pre-university and intermediate courses of the admission fee reduction facility in the current semester (i.e. fall 2020) will be required to submit application forms and all other institutions to their respective regional offices/centers.
