Alama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has introduced the PGD program for professional development in four areas.
According to a press release on Tuesday, these programs are dedicated to developing the professional capabilities and expertise of technicians in related fields in accordance with the latest trends in the job market economy.
The main goal of these programs is not only to enhance the value of professional services, but also to enable them to contribute to the country’s social and economic development in the best possible way.
The admission criteria for these PGD programs are 14 years of education, including Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Business Management, and 2-year associate degree programs (at least 45%). The duration of these courses is one year, and the deadline for submitting applications is October 15.
Applications can be submitted through the online system.
After filling out the online application form, the fee can be deposited into any branch of ABL, MCB or FWB before October 15.
The admission fee can be paid 48 hours after filling out the online application form. The entrance fee deposit details must be updated on the website.
The university prospectus provides an online application procedure to facilitate applicants.
In addition, the university offers various courses in the fall semester of 2020 to improve the youth skills of Skardu and GB.
These courses include sewing, tailoring and entrepreneurship for girls, and masonry for boys. The university is working with Alight Pakistan and JACA to provide these programs.
